Ram Services Limited carries out structural waterproofing in a wide variety of environments ranging from the small and mundane such as vehicle inspection pits, to large structures where integrity against water ingress or egress is critical, such as reservoir roofs, basements, chemical storage bunds etc.
Structural waterproofing methods can include use of simple brush or roller techniques for smaller areas, and use of spray equipment or sheet materials where more extensive areas are involved or speed of application is critical.
Equipment available includes hot applied plural spray gear for polyurea and polyurethane based systems, airless spray units for single pack systems, and small worm pumps for cementitious materials.
As with all such work, surface preparation is paramount, and high pressure water jetting, abrasive grit blasting, Blastrac, diamond grinding and hot compressed air are just some of the methods used to ensure good performance.
Structural Waterproofing Information
Waterproofing systems include…
- fully bonded spray or otherwise liquid applied liquid waterproofing membranes
- loose laid and bonded sheet membranes
- cementitious slurry or render applications
- epoxy resin based coatings where chemical resistance is required
- polyurethane based systems where movement accommodation is critical
- UV, abrasion or slip resistant finishes
