Ram Services Limited’s Diamond Drilling Division have just completed a series of diamond stitch drilling operations to create openings in existing wastewater treatment tank walls to facilitate installation of new large bore pipe work.
Circular openings 2.2m in diameter were specified by the client, and to minimise use of heavy plant and equipment stitch drilling was used to create precisely described openings before the concrete released was removed by mechanical means.
